This fly is designed to mimic the lifelike movements of a crawfish while maintaining profile and defensive posture. When stripped in, the craw tucks its claws and flees up and away. When paused, this fly assumes a defensive position and sinks slowly down. This is a deadly fly for picky brown trout and cold-weather bass.
